KDHE Press Release: Suicide on the Rise

The Kansas Department for Health and Environment press release regarding the recent CDC report. Both KDHE and KDADS officials are quoted about the rising problem of suicide in the State of Kansas. The Kansas Suicide Prevention Resource Center, which receives partial funding from KDADS, is cited as a resource for all Kansans impacted by suicide in any way. With the reported increase of suicide in Kansas, it is more important than ever that community partners work together to implement suicide prevention strategies and reach out to those in need of help.
