KDHE Press Release: Suicide on the Rise

On June 7, 2018 the CDC (Center for Disease Control) produced a report detailing increases in suicide rates across the country. Kansas experienced a dramatic increase in suicide deaths particularly for women. Kansas is ranked 19th for suicide death rates and fifth for overall change in suicide rates.
